What is Go 4th?
Go 4th Sunday is an exciting new initiative by the members of All Saints Church in Milton Keynes village. Members of the church are devoting some of their Sundays – the 4th Sunday of each month – to helping out in the local community. We meet for breakfast at 9.30am, have a short service at 10.15am and then head out into the community.
Here’s the sort of thing we get involved in – watch our short video:
So what does ‘helping out’ involve?
We’re doing different things from litter-picking, tidying up communal garden areas, organising games for parents and children, to helping those who are a little less able. We are always open to suggestions!
And if anyone fancies a coffee, some of our church members will be brewing up in the Church from 11am – 12.15pm while others of us are out and about.
What area is covered by Go 4th?
We’ll be focusing on the areas served by our church – Middleton and Oakgrove. We particularly see a need to help out the newly expanding community at Oakgrove but have started off closer to home in Milton Keynes village.
Who benefits from Go 4th?
Anybody who needs assistance that Go 4th can offer – nobody is excluded!
So… if you like the sound of this, we hope you’ll come and give it a try. And don’t worry if you can’t come for all of it – come for what you can!
